Terms & Conditions

  1. CONFORMITY OF THE VACATION RENTAL:

    The owner has asked the booking manager to market, without exclusivity, his furnished property to potential clients for short-term rentals.
    The owner is committed to providing, without interruption, all the services (water, power, AC, internet Wifi...), the proper functioning of the appliances and the general maintenance of the property. He also will keep his dues up to date with the condo association and the local administrations.
    He will properly insure the property and its occupants.

    In case of emergency, if a service is interrupted because of a payment default or malfunction of any equipment/appliance, the booking manager is duly authorized to take any reasonable action to reestablish such services using the funds collected from renters.

    Local representative and guests welcoming
    The owner will provide a local representative responsible for the general maintenance, cleaning and preparation of the vacation rental and welcoming and departure of the guests. He has the keys to the property and is authorized to act under the direct supervision of either the owner or Battuta Rentals.

  2. BATTUTA RENTALS SERVICES:

    The booking manager will do all the necessary marketing and will manage all communications and payments with his clients. He will control but not perform the check-in / check-out process and the housekeeping.

  3. OWNER'S OBLIGATIONS:

    Calendar
    The owner can enter in the calendar to reserve his own stays and bookings given that he respects all previous reservations.

    Copyrights
    The owner will refrain from using the texts and the photos owned by the booking manager in its own listings and publications.

    Prices
    The booking manager will fluctuate selling rates in order to obtain the highest income possible. Prices and other booking conditions are easily obtained from his website.

    Commission
    The booking manager will earn a 20% commission calculated on gross revenues for his services. He will remit the balance to the owner by ACH to a Panamanian bank account after the month-end liquidation.

  4. CONTRAT TERMINATION:

    This agreement can be terminated at any moment. If the owner cancels the contract, he is obligated to honour all the reservation that have been booked for the next 6 months.
